Functions of the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC)
- Conducting innovation, IPR, and entrepreneurship activities: Implementing various programs
related to innovation, intellectual property rights, and entrepreneurship as prescribed by MIC within specified
timelines.
- Identifying and rewarding innovations: Recognizing outstanding innovations and sharing success
stories to inspire others.
- Organizing workshops and mentoring sessions: Hosting workshops, seminars, and interactions with
entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals, while building a mentor network for student innovators.
- Networking with peers and organizations: Establishing connections with peer institutions and
national entrepreneurship development bodies.
- Creating an Innovation Portal: Developing a portal to showcase innovative projects by faculty
and students.
- Hosting competitions and challenges: Organizing hackathons, idea competitions, and
mini-challenges with active industry participation.
